About the role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PCB Layout Engineer to join our hardware development team. You will own the physical design process of our next-generation electronic products, translating complex schematics into high-performance, manufacturable PCBAs. You'll work closely with Electrical, Mechanical, and Manufacturing engineers to deliver robust, high-yield designs on time.

Responsibilities

Board layout & routing: high-density, multi-layer placement and routing for high-speed digital, analog, and power electronics
Component library management: create, verify, and maintain schematic symbols and land pattern footprints per industry standards
DFx compliance: apply DFM, DFA, and DFT guidelines
Signal & power integrity: impedance-controlled routing, differential pairs, shielding for EMI/EMC mitigation
Collaboration: partner with mechanical engineers on physical constraints, housing fitment, and thermal management
Release documentation: generate manufacturing packages (Gerber, ODB++, drill charts, BOM)

Required qualifications

Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
3+ years of experience
Work on location in Torrance, CA
Minimum BS in EE, Computer Engineering, or related field
